Description

Simple phonetic rules guide a parent to help young readers pronounce 200 new words correctly. Additional guidance is available on the publisher’s website. The board book pages are sturdy but not too thick. Words are grouped by theme: pets, food, colors, etc. Illustrations are clear and the pages are not too cluttered. I like the note to parents in the corner of each 2-page spread that gives you a little hint to engage the child even more. It’s an age-appropriate way to introduce a child to a new language using familiar daily vocabulary. ~Sara
