may not already know who Janusz Korczak (Henry Goldsmith) was. An anti-Hitler
in a way, he saw children as the future and as citizens of today rather than a
weapon to be developed and used. His love for the children of Poland made it
impossible for him to escape Nazis occupied Poland and save his own life. He
remained side-by-side with the orphaned children straight to their deaths at
Treblinka. This text is a unique biography that juxtaposes Korczak love of
children and their future to Hitler’s use and manipulation of children for his
