Description
Dragon Mom is the star in this sequel game! Like the first Dragon's Breath, a column of ice rings is placed in the middle of the board and filled with gems. However, this time, the column is a nest with an egg atop – and Mama Dragon wants to keep the egg from tumbling out! Each round, the player enacting the role of Dragon Mom “melts" an ice ring by lifting it off the nest. The gems that fall off the nest can then be collected by the other players, who are trying to collect specific gems that will permit them to create amulets. Each amulet card depicts the number and colors of gems needed and the points it will score if completed. But watch out – Dragon Mom also gets to collect gems, and she's on the lookout to keep her opponents from scoring! After the other three players have taken one gem, Dragon Mom gets to take two gems of her choice if she kept the egg on the nest and one gem if the egg fell. When all the rings have been melted and players have created all the amulets they could, their score is recorded and play begins again with a new Mama Dragon in town. When each player has been Mama Dragon once, the game ends and the player who managed to get the most points from completed amulet cards wins. This game can also be used as an expansion to the first Dragon's Breath, creating the option for a 5th player! A cute, tactile action game with a smidge of strategy for the kiddos. For 2-4 players, with a game time of about 20 minutes. Oh no!
The nest, complete with dragon egg and sparkling stones, is frozen inside an ice column! Help Dragon Mom melt the thick layer of ice, but be careful that the egg doesn't fall out of the nest! Earn points by collecting the fallen sparkling stones and placing them on your amulets. The player with the most points at the end of the game is the winner.
It can be combined with 2018 Kinderspiel Winner Dragon's Breath (sold separately) for a 5th player and new rules!
