Description

Did you know God has more than one name? In this kid's guidebook readers explore 10 unique names of God and dig into scriptural examples of the qualities of God that represent God's name. Tony Evans provides relevant discussion questions and relatable student life scenarios for students to connect with. This would be a wonderful addition to a Bible study on the nature or character of God. Having a Bible to be able to look up scriptures and the stories mentioned would be ideal. Each chapter has a ‘Remember It' section that helps articulate what was learned in that chapter, plus a section at the end of the book for personal review over each name. I could see myself utilizing this resource as a read-out-loud group study with my students to facilitate discussion and conversation. Pgs. 122 | Paperback ~Rebecca

Category Description for Kid's Guide

These non-reproducible Kids' Guide to… books make a wonderful addition to a young students Bible learning study. Having their own Bible would be very helpful for students in reading through these resource books as they need to look up scriptures and find Bible stories. These books provide information about key Christian concepts through the process of self-reflection. Space is provided within the book for students to write. Having a separate journal would be nice as space is limited for writing within the book. Chapters are 15-20 pages long and have discussion/reflection questions throughout each chapter. These books will promote children's personal and spiritual development, as they study the Bible and foundational Christian principles. ~Rebecca
