The Curse of Blackwood Hall
“The victims are Emily and Simon Markham. They were found dead in their home, Blackwood Hall, apparently from food poisoning. They took violently ill after eating dinner Saturday night.”
“Might it have been an accident!” I asked’ “Most deaths from eating wild mushrooms are.”
“Ah yes. And that might be the case here. However, there are a number of coincidences that make me suspicious. First, the person who picked the mushrooms swore she ate those same mushrooms herself to no ill effect. Secondly, the cook’s glasses went missing on the day of the murder. And third...well I think I’ll leave you to find the clues.”
The Victims-“Emily is a Blackwood. She grew up in Blackwood Hall. however, her father was a gambler and they were forced to sell the place. It only recently went on the market again, and Emily is a successful actress. One would assume Emily received great satisfaction in regaining the property that had been in the Blackwood family since before the Civil War.”

Coach Wolf Manning-Obsessed with Emily in High School..She never gave him the time of day. And is up to his eyeballs in debt.
LuAnn Helms-Real Estate Agent. Simon Markel stuffed her for half of her commission on Blackwood Hall. He claims she agreed to a quick sale, but she never did. She feels he got what he deserved.

tricky but fun!
we hadn't worked a puzzle in decades but the family got together and had great fun working the different rooms at the same time.

I forgot I loved puzzles!
It has been years since I worked on a puzzle. During the quarantine I decided that I needed an activity to break up the monotony of being home. I loved that this particular puzzle had a twist, so I ordered it. Everything about it was enjoyable. The quality is top notch, the colors are beautiful, and my entire family couldn't help but try it when they walked by the table. I am ordering more for my parents and our home!
