Description
Young Sherlocks-in-training will quickly deduce that this is an excellent memory game! 8 cards are placed face-up in a circle; each card has a clockwise or counterclockwise arrow, a number, and an object. The cards are then flipped face-down and play begins. Each round, players put Sherlock on a card, say which card it is, and then flip it over. If correct, Sherlock moves the direction and distance indicated; if he lands on a face-down card, the process continues. If he lands on a face-up card, the player gets the card and ends their turn. If the player makes a wrong guess, their turn is over. The addition of the cute Sherlock dog in this version helps younger kids keep track of where they are and makes it easier to think of Sherlock travelling around to gather clues. For 2-5 players ages five and up. 15-minute playtime.
Publisher's Description of Sherlock Deluxe Edition
Remember the objects hidden in a facedown circle of cards. Sherlock travels from one card to another stopping at a facedown card, which the player has to remember. Sherlock continues to move as long as the player remembers correctly. When Sherlock arrives at an up face card the player keeps that card. The first player to collect six cards wins.
