Description

Learn how archeology confirms the Bible in this fascinating study of artifacts, manuscripts, structures and ruins that many of us only know from Sunday School classes! This text has 39 lessons and introduces us to the Shalmaneser Monolith, the Pilate Stone, Sennacherib reliefs, Lachish letters, Dead Sea Scrolls, the ancient city of Dan, the City of David Administration Building, and more. Students can work at their own pace or follow the included 8-week schedule, the lessons begin with a short DVD lesson (average 3 ½ minutes) followed by activities from the study guide. There are 2 levels of activities: general review for all ages that review video teaching through puzzles, as well as with true or false, multiple choice and fill in the blank questions.

Most days also have an “Advanced Study" section that reviews content from previous lessons, adds a short Bible reading, and/or occasional internet research project. No tests/quizzes are included. Parents wishing to use this as an elective at the high school level will want to incorporate research projects or essays. Work at your own pace or follow the included 8-week schedule. Students and parents alike will be encouraged in their faith as they learn that God's Word is true and verifiable through archaeological discoveries! With the purchase of the DVD course, you will receive an email with access to the downloadable PDF workbook and answer key. ~ Deanne
