Description

A fun, interactive way for children to get some hands-on experience with 6 different coding languages. The coding languages used are as follows: Artie Max™ UI, Blockly, Snap!, JavaScript, Python, and C++. Once the user installs the Artie coding software program onto their preferred tablet or computer, they can create code commands which instruct the robot to draw specified objects. The coding projects are included in an instruction manual, listing the coding languages in order from beginner to advanced. Once the user has a feel for how the coding software works, they can begin to branch out and experiment with their own designs. This is a great learning tool for those who already have an interest in coding and are fluent with reading and typing on computers. For children with no computer or coding experience, adult supervision and aid may be required. In addition to coding commands, the user may freestyle projects with a remote control.

The Artie robot comes preassembled and has its own Wi-Fi for connecting to your device. Artie will never connect to personal internet connections. Set-up instructions are featured in the instruction manual. This set includes a pre-installed rechargeable battery, USB charging cable (does not include wall port), 3 washable markers, and the Artie robot. ~ Brianna
