My 15 yo son used this last year to keep up with assignments and it was very helpful.

We've used them for the past three years and really like all they have to offer.

I like the format- with an hourly schedule, and then a different format for daily/monthly agenda items.

My teen loves that this planner allows him to write across for the whole week. Much easier to view and use than others that he has tried.
Sarah E on May 22, 2021
I really like the "time on task" notations as well as the highschool planning page.
Erin L on Apr 3, 2021
I am using this for my 7th/8th grade son so we can get used to the planner system before high school classes. I have the Ultimate Homeschool Planner and my youngest daughter has the student planner.
Tasha on Feb 27, 2021
I am looking for a casual place for my teens to write out their assignments for the subjects that are self led. It looks great for them to write in what matters to them.

Keeps track of time

In addition to helping students keep track of assignments, it also helps students keep track of credit hours and other important things for preparing for college applications.
Jessica O on Aug 12, 2020
Kids log the time spent in each subject, which adds up to credits as one method of measuring when a course is 1 or 2 semesters (50 hours = 1 semester, 100 hours = full year). Let the teens own their schedule and tracking for you.
Patricia M on Jul 20, 2020
My son has used in the past and requested it again.
Migdalia G on Jul 6, 2020
The quotes and credit tracking on each day is a perfect addition to my high schooler's day. She can read and ponder the amazing quotes as much as she desires. It is nice to plant seeds of work ethic, helpfulness, and faith.
HOLLY B on Jun 1, 2020
I love that the dates are not printed in this planner. Our "school" year usually does not begin in July nor end in June. :)
Jeanette F on Sep 17, 2019
We used this last year and it helped our boys keep track of their time for each class and their assignments.
Chenea F on Aug 24, 2019
We love the layout and the fact that it has a tracker for time spent on subjects since we have to track our hours in our state for homeschooling.
Emily J on Aug 13, 2019
My teens like this style planner. It allows them to customize the entries, and measure time each week in a subject. Best for calculating credits for Electives or other non-textbook style classes. (And no corny quotes)
Patricia M on Aug 12, 2019
I let my daughter choose a student planner that she felt would help her be more organized this year.
Janet S on Jul 18, 2019
My daughter used this last year and really enjoyed it!
Rosalee on Jul 10, 2019
My son really loves this planner to record his classes.
Theresa O on May 6, 2019
We have used the ultimate daily planners for students with my three oldest children for the last two years. My daughter will begin high school next year. I am having her transition to this more independent planner for the final 6 weeks of eighth grade so she will be ready to utilize it all next year.
Melinda P on Feb 6, 2019
The circles divided into fourths allow the students to shade in how much time they spent, allowing me to calculate high school credits or know when a younger student has spent sufficient time on each subject. I wish there were more than 6 subject boxes. I would like a place to tally the time spent for each week, month, semester and year to date.

LOVE Debra Bell's planners - the teen ones help you keep track of credit hours. Her planners have taught me how to organize my whole year - life changing for me

We have used this previously and like the layout
Donita H on Jul 26, 2018
I like the vertical layout for the days and the fact that I can help teach my kids time management.
User on Jul 19, 2018
Because it has the easy circle concept for keeping time for my student.
Kristin W on Jul 12, 2018
My daughter used it last year and absolutely loved it. From the quotes to the record keeping, it adds much value to the homeschooling experience and helps students take ownership of their learning.
Wanda K on Jul 11, 2018
This will be our fourth year using the ultimate homeschool planner system. We have not used the teen planner yet, but we have been very happy with the other products. I like to stay with what works for us. I am assuming that this planner will be as thoughtfully developed as the teacher and younger student planners are.
Erica G on Jun 2, 2018
I use the ultimate homeschool planner and I needed something similar for my son. Hopefully he will use it well.
Carmen H on Jan 12, 2018
I chose this one because it looks sturdy and durable. I like the clock feature to help them keep track of credit hours, it is 52 weeks (a HUGE plus!), I can decide when my school year begins and ends, the subjects are not preprinted, and I can have 6 days, and 6 subjects, as opposed to 5 and 5. Large 8x11" size. Rainbow Resource offered the best price + free shipping. I hope this meets my expectations.
Katie W on Oct 23, 2017
This planner appears to be just what my middle school student needs as he grows more independent in his homeschooling. It has plenty of room for all of his different subjects, and I like the time circles so that he knows approximately how much time to spend on each task. I am hoping this planner will work out well this year. I do like the layout too.
User on Aug 26, 2017
We have been using these planners for several years. It helps my high schoolers keep themselves organized. They ask for this particular planner each year.
Brenda T on Aug 11, 2017
For my new high schooler to use.

Looking for planner to fit my homeschooling teens to begin learning to plan and manage their days and weeks.
Cynthia D on Jul 3, 2016
Love the layout and the spaces to record time spent on each subject. If it's already there, my teen is more likely to fill it out.
Stephanie P on Jun 21, 2016
i think this will be a great way to help my daughter stay organized for 8th grade

Nice features: all the reference pages in math, science etc..

Needs improvement: Dates are not filled out. If you have girls, no problem they will love filling out the dates and getting ready for the school year. Boys on the other hand would rather do something else.

Weekly planning with the subjects on the left hand side like the parents planner, is very restricting for the student in my opinion. I like the "on task" feature, however it would be nice to simply have a blank column for the day so that the child can plan his activities, including non school related.
