Product Description:

Measuring approximately 6"x 1", these colorful plastic tiles are the perfect tool to review and solidify fraction concepts. Tiles include 1, ½, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, 1/6, 1/8, 1/10, and 1/12. With the differing, vibrant colors, children will be able to easily see that 1/3 is equivalent to 2/6 and 4/12 or determine which is larger, 1/8 or 1/5! A perfect way to teach the abstract concepts with concrete, hands on resources to introduce fractions, equivalencies and the more complex concepts like addition and subtraction of fractions. ~ Deanne

Is each tile separate or is this molded all together? Is each section 6" x 1" or is the entire thing 6"x 1"?
A shopper on Aug 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The pieces come stuck to a plastic backing. Once taken off, they are all individual pieces so there will be lots of little parts. I keep mine in the bag that they came in.
Are these fraction bars in a tray like container?
Wendy G on May 16, 2017
