Description
The alcohol lamp is one of the oldest and most widely used tools in Chemistry. This is a glass ethyl-alcohol lamp with stand. Comes with 1 glass lamp (3 x 3.5), 1 wire gauze top, 1 lamp cap, 1 flame snuffer, 2 metal base legs (2-pronged, 3.5 x 5) and 1 wooden base (4.5 x 3.5). Assembly is simple: just ensure the wick has approximately 10 minutes to become fully saturated with ethyl alcohol prior to lighting. Since alcohol is extremely flammable, take safety precautions including eye protection. Not designed to be carried or used with any other fuel. Sturdy and reasonably priced. ~ Ruth
