Crafters had been asking for years for a larger potholder loom and Harrisville Designs listened, creating a 10 ½" x 10 ½" loom that makes 8 ½" square potholders – a good 3" larger than the little potholders from a traditional potholder loom. So if you're always using two little potholders for your family's large casserole dishes and cookie sheets, or if your potholder-weaving children are looking for a bigger challenge, the Pro is your answer. The kit includes the sturdy metal 10 ½" square loom, two hooks, enough custom-sized loops to create two large potholders and illustrated instructions. Pro loops are also available separately, in refills that will create two additional potholders. Made in the USA.

How many loops are in this bag? Or how many potholders will it make?

BEST ANSWER: It takes 54 loops to make a hot pad. I don't remember how many loops are in a bag, exactly, but I think you can get four solid color hot pads out of one regular sized bag. Check with the producer, Harrisville, about quantity of loops in a bag.

Very Tight
Many of the loops in this bag were really tight getting them on to the loom. some loops didn't fit at all. This is the first time it has happened to me where I couldn't work them onto the loom. Usually I can stretch them to fit. The quality is still good, just the tightness is difficult to maneuver the loops.
