Lion in my Way
Imagine that you're on a long journey, and you encounter a swamp. Now imagine that the only tools you can use to cross the swamp are an elephant, a trampoline, or a plate of cookies. Which should you choose? This cooperative game presents many such unusual scenarios; the only way to overcome them is to work as a team and use your imagination! Game contains 25 colorfully illustrated path cards, each with a different obstacle. 100 tool cards portray a variety of objects and animals, from the ordinary to the crazy. Players are dealt several tool cards and must brainstorm with the group to choose the best tool(s) to clear the obstacles. Silly or serious, this game flexes those creative musclesand it makes for great storytelling! ~ Lisa

Lion in My Way is a journey along a path of hazards and barriers which are overcome by the collective cleverness of the players. Armed with the unlikely tools they are dealt, imagination and some silliness, players cooperate creatively to innovate solutions that let them get home together.
Our family has long enjoyed playing co-operative games from Family Pastimes. We play competitive ones, too, but enjoy fostering team spirit as we all work toward achieving a goal.
