Personal Finance 200 Set
Personal finance students learn saving versus spending, credit, debt, and credit reports. They study investing basics, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other investments. Students study taxes, insurance, and elements of a financial plan.
This course is intended for independent study for those at the high school level who would like to know more about handling their money wisely - both now and in the future. Each set is a one semester course (1/2 credit). Personal Finance 100 is an introduction and teaches students about planning for their future, understanding credit, investing, and important money decisions. Personal Finance 200 goes to the next level and teaches saving strategies, working with a budget, eliminating debt, investing, and a section on reading books on the subject of finance and analyzing them. Prepare your students in a very practical way for adulthood and their financial future.
