BEST ANSWER: These are great for any age—no kidding. We have had age 4 through adult enjoy them tremendously. Even my teens never seem to tire of sword fighting. We have had many brands of foam swords through the years. Mashoonga are my favorite because they are lightweight yet highly durable. I consider foam swords one of the all time best toys because of their timeless appeal and that they keep kids engaged in active outdoor play. Because of this, I have given these as gifts many times, and the recipients are always thrilled!

Excellent Play Swords
We purchased these on the recommendation of a friend, and they've been a huge hit with our family. We have a 15-year-old, a 13-year-old, and a 7-year-old, and almost every day in the several weeks since we got the swords, one will ask, "Shall we go fight with swords?" There haven't been any injuries, despite the occasional head-thwack, and the swords have held up well under heavy use. Definitely recommended!

For nearly 20 years Mashoonga has been a favorite in our family!
Our son received a Mashoonga! set about 20 years ago, and now our 10 year old grandson has requested his own set. Lots of safe fun indoors or outside! Plenty of exercise! I have personally had a great deal of fun with our grandma/grandson duels - we both end up laughing hysterically! Mashoonga is definitely a FAVORITE in our family. It is nice that the set comes with its own sturdy net storage bag as well as fabric covers that can easily be removed and washed.
