Are the balls rubber like the original ones, or hard super balls?

BEST ANSWER: To me the balls were OK, more like rubber not super balls. Was very disappointed in the jacks. Way to big to handle especially for little kids. The jacks were not like the ones we used to have as kids.
How many jacks per package?Are they metal like the original ones?

BEST ANSWER: The jacks I received only had 5 jacks in each package. I used another to make it 6 in each package. If I remember correctly, the original (when we were kids) jacks had 6 in each set.
Ate these jacks the same size as the original ones - like the ones my sisters played with when we were young? The ones I see today like in Toys R Us look a lot smaller and made of plastic. I sould like to give some to the little girls in the neighborhood.

BEST ANSWER: They are a little less than 1 inch in diameter, and more chunky (the metal seems thicker) than the ones I remember from childhood.
How big are the jacks size wise?

Old Fashioned Jacks
I bought 8 sets for Christmas gifts. They were immediately opened and played. One of my sisters was taking them to her New Year's party. She said they would have tournaments just like in high school. Great fun!

Same as I remember
These jacks were the same as I remember as a little girl. I wanted to introduce my grandkids to some of the things I use to do as a child. I recommend this product for anyone who wants to buy a old timey product to introduce to their grandkids...
