45 United States Presidents teaches facts about our presidents while helping to develop students' handwriting skills. Arranged in chronological order, worksheets provide room for students to write the president's name and birth/death dates underneath a black-and-white portrait reproduction; students also copy quotes from each president, as well as "fun facts." This series provides a helpful kinesthetic element to learning about history.
These worksheets provide handwriting practice and history reinforcement, with character devel-opment on the side. It doesn’t get more practical than this! Each of the U.S. Presidents is covered in order with four pages of handwriting practice: name/dates in office/picture; character quote; description of accomplishments; and fun facts. Books are available in three handwriting styles, D’Nealian, Getty-Dubay Italic, and Zaner-Bloser. Each style comes in three levels – basic print, beginning cursive, and advanced cursive. New to the series in 2019 are the intermediate and advanced printing workbooks (for grades 3-7). Intermediate print lines are .5 inch with a dotted midline. Advanced print lines are 1 cm wide with a dotted half line. The 177-page books are lay-flat spiral-bound and use a high quality paper that will stand up to some erasing. ~ Janice
