This summer our focus is going to be 100% learning through art. My child's least favorite subject tends to be math. I am hoping these lessons will begin to layer creativity into her understanding of mathematical concepts.

Is there an art kit for this book? What art supplies are needed to recreate the art discussed?
A shopper on Jul 9, 2022
BEST ANSWER: This is more of showing math in famous art. There are some projects where you recreate a feature from a painting or try a technique, but they only require basic art supplies. I do not have a list however, I'm sorry.
Is this book worth purchasing for summer math for my 6th grader who loves art? I am looking for something independent, not something he would need need for.
Gregory on May 10, 2021
BEST ANSWER: My high school girl like it. It’s not as much instruction in math as I thought it would be, it’s more specific to how a particular math concept was used in this art piece. Not all of the links worked, but you can google/YouTube the info and find what they want you to see. A Neat add on I would say but not a true math curriculum
