We all know that time spent on the road can be unpredictable, and in this game anything could happen! Flat tires, running out of gas, breakdowns - not to mention little things like stoplights and speed limits! This classic family card game requires players to log in 1,000 miles in a race across France. Players try to collect mileage cards and things like spare tires, gas, and more so they are ready to overcome any hazard that comes their way, while at the same time trying to sabotage other players' progress. Game includes 106 cards, and is designed for 2-6 players.

I played this game as a child nearly 50 years ago, and I still remember the graphic design of that card-set, I still think it is some of the best I've ever seen on a card game. I wanted to get a set for my nephew, and this set has the same graphics that I remember.

I've thought about getting this game many times, but now is a good time with needing to social distance. I played this game with my grandmother in my youth back in the 70s and looking forward to playing with my husband and eventually with my grand kids when we are able to have contact again. Hopefully, that is soon.

My husband played this game in his youth. Over our 40+ years together I think it got sold in a yard sale. Now that we are social distancing and playing games at night he mentioned the good memories he had playing this game as a youngster. I thought this game would be a nice addition to his Easter Basket this year.

I remember hours and hours of fun playing Mille Bornes when I was a kid and teenager. I now have a 13 year old daughter and an 8 year old new nephew who love playing games. I cannot wait to share this one with them. Our Skipbo and Phase 10 decks need a break!

When I was a child (I'm in my 40's now), my brother and cousins would play this game during the holidays at our Grandmother's. It was so much fun. Prior to my grandmother passing, she gave the original game to me. My brother was very jealous as he'd like to now play it with his children.... Mille Bornes / Out of Gas
We purchased our first game in 1975. Both our boys grew up with it, and now grandchildren are playing it with delight! While we still have our original game, we bought new games for the kids scattered in three states, but less than 1,000 miles away! What fun we've had through the years and generations.
