This kit includes all the materials kids will need to experiment and learn about the history of magnets, rules of magnetism, types of magnets, how magnets are used and so much more. Kit includes: magnet wand, 3 magnetic balls, horseshoe magnet, bar magnet, 2 ring magnets, a compass, 8 nuts, 5 washers, wire, a metal rod, 3 crepe rubber shapes and 8 double-sided activity cards. The activity cards are illustrated and contain step-by-step instructions for 14 experiments. A nice first magnet set with the "basics" of equipment that go beyond the kit itself, this would make a nice accompaniment to an elementary topical study of magnetism. ~ Alysia

Great for science project or a Birthday present.
This is a really fun magnet set. My 5 year old LOVES magnets and this made a perfect present for him. Highly recommend!

My girls LOVE this product! They have so much fun discovering the neat things magnets can do The kit comes with experiment cards which are fun for my 2nd grader to do My preschooler just loves playing with them I may have to buy another one so they each have their own

My children get this kit out regularly They do the experiments suggested but they also use the magnets for other experiments and games they invent Since the kit contains many different types of magnets they can get really creative with them It has marble magnets a wand magnet horse shoe magnet bar magnet ring magnets and more It really is an awesome value for the magnets alone Add in the experiment cards and the other items included for the experiments and I think this kit is a truly amazing value I cannot imagine anyone would regret spending the money on this item It is completely reusable so it will be around for all my children and I'll probably save it for my grandkids too!
