Category Description for Quad-Ruled Notebooks:

Such useful grid paper in these notebooks! We used grid paper for just about everything (including taking notesit seemed neater, somehow, to one child). Two notebook options are available. The pages are perforated and come with three hole punches for binder placement. The 4/1" Spiral notebook contains 100 sheets, with 4 squares per inch graph paper on both sides, pages perforated. Hole punched spiral-bound. Comes in red, lime green, blue and black (our choice) with a cardboard back. The Reversible contains four squares per inch on one side and 5 squares per inch on the reverse. These notebooks contain 80 sheets. The notebooks' front and back covers come in two different colors to help identify grid size (i.e. red/white, green/white). These assorted color (our choice) notebooks are bound without wire. If multiples are purchased of either type, we'll assort. ~ Ruth

We find using graph paper is best for completing Saxon Math Homeschool edition lessons. It helps my sons maintain boundaries for each problem and I don't have to copy the suggested graph paper on the back of Saxon books.

Are the grid squares 1/2" or are they smaller, like 1/4"?
User on Aug 24, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hi, just like the product tag line and the circle on the notebook front say, there are 4 squares per inch (or 16 per square inch), so each square is 1/4 inch long (and wide). We use it for math and science homework. The squares are a great size for individual numbers and help with alignment of place value and equations.

Sturdy, good quality
These are to replace ones I had been buying locally, but are no longer available. I found them to be more sturdy and to have more pages than what I had been using. My kids use them for Saxon math homework. They work well!

Great for math problems
I bought this for my 10-year-old son whose handwriting needs a lot of improvement. It helps him write slower and keeps his numbers lined up so he can complete his math problems correctly. Great product for this!
