Simple components, straightforward rules, and varied play strategies make for perhaps the most fun you’ll ever have with parts of speech—and most certainly with a possum. Each player roles the dice (up to 3 times) to make a word that will fill in a scorecard category of nouns, verbs, adjectives or others (i.e. 3-letter noun; 6-letter any). Get Possum points when you make up a pretend word, name its part of speech, define it and use it in a sentence (and everyone must agree). Includes six 6-sided dice and 100 scorecard sheets. Publisher Description:
POSSUM is a dice game in which players use six dice to spell out words and earn points by filling categories on their scorecards. The categories are arranged by parts of speech. Players have to make nouns, verbs, and adjectives. They also try to make 5- and 6-letter words of any part of speech. Players get extra points for using less common letters in their words. In addition, players can have fun by making up one word—a POSSUM word—as long as they can use it in a sentence and name its part of speech in that sentence. Points are recorded on a scorecard, and the player with the most points at the end of the game is the winner. Includes an instruction sheet, 6 letter dice, and 100 scorecards. For 2–6 players.
