From art supplier Royal Langnickel, this versatile set of 15 brushes can be used with oils, acrylics, and watercolor paints. You get 3 sizes of round brushes, 3 flats, 4 angled, 2 filberts (a flat brush with rounded bristles) a liner, a script (long-bristle liner) and a fan brush. The handles are the prettiest clear acrylic colors with a no-slip grip towards the ferule (metal part). These are a great way for students to use good brushes and find one that speaks to them. I have done a lot of painting and love a good flat brush. I can do about anything with it! And, I buy these student sets for my own work. If you forget to wash one out, you have others and didn't spend a fortune. Keep a set like this with your art supplies and see what your children/students can create. Let them play around and create different effects. Finally, in my opinion, this set would be best used with acrylic paints. Play around and find your creative style! ~Sara
