My daughter loved the Illustrated Stories from Dickens so much that she requested more of this type of book. She was especially happy to hear there was a Shakespeare version.

More please!
An amazing book! My children love it so much they ask for it. They have learned so much of Shakespeare's works as well as about Shakespeare. The biography of his life was so well written, my kids paid as much attention to it as they did the stories. We're anxiously awaiting volume two!

Great for young readers!
We LOVE this book from Usborne (we have almost the entire illustrated stories set). Sure, it's not in the original language that has gained Shakespeare so much fame through the ages, but it's a great introduction for younger readers. My kids read this book again and again, and I figure that it will give them a great head start when the begin to read the words from the master himself. Accessible text with plenty of full-color pictures make this an engaging read. This is a great book for all ages, with an independent reading level somewhere around a typical second grader I would think. However, my kids older and younger than that all enjoy these books.
