Queens, kings, knights and dragons! Imagine a place where there's a queen of all pancakes, a king of cookies and a pack of over-protective dragons. If this sounds like something out of a dream, it actually is! Sleeping Queens was invented by 6-year-old Miranda Evarts, who thought up the game one night when she couldn't fall asleep. She awoke the next morning and with help from her older sister, Madeleine and her parents, Denise and Max created this wonderfully whimsical world of napping nobles. As you immerse yourself in the Evart's fantasyland, you will find a game that helps develop memory, strategy, and elementary arithmetic skills. Just be careful when playing potion cards or you could wind up putting all the players to sleep!

We have had this game for ages and it has grown with our family beautifully. The game is simple enough for our 18 month old daughter to get the concept (when playing the matching version of the game), while providing addition and subtraction practice for our six year old. We love this game!

Sleeping Queens
My son (9 yrs old) played this in his math enrichment class and asked for it for his birthday. His birthday was almost two months ago, and he has played it EVERY SINGLE DAY! His older siblings like it too, as do I!

Great game
This game is easy enough for the 5 year old to play with a little help but gives the 8 year old a little challenge to remember to use her math problems too. It isn't too long or too short so it keeps their attentions.
