Publisher's Description of M3 Half-Track - 580 Pieces (History Collection World War II)

The M3 half-track armored personnel carrier is the result of a decade of US military work to create a base vehicle for transport, support, reconnaissance and, as it later turned out, artillery. It was equipped with a Browning machine gun. The first units entered the Army in the fall of 1940. Many versions of the M3 were created, adapted to perform various functions. The vehicle was extremely popular and became a hallmark of the US Army. The M3 fought in the Pacific, North Africa and Europe. They were used depending on the version in every possible function. M3 vehicles were handed over to the Soviet Union under the Lend-Lease Act. After the withdrawal of American troops, the British took over the vehicles. The Polish Armed Forces in the West were also a user of these vehicles. You can build a COBI model of the American M3 GMC vehicle from 580 construction blocks with the help of simple instructions based on step-by-step directions. The M3 Half-Track Transporter features movable machine gun, opening storage compartments, working track traction, drop-down window guards and rolling wheels! All graphic details are high-quality prints that do not wear off even during intense play. The design, in a unique way, reflects the original shapes of its historical prototype. The set also includes two figures of American soldiers equipped with a bazooka grenade launcher, a revolver and a new type of binoculars. The M3 COBI includes an exclusive piece with the printed vehicle model name. The set will be perfect as a toy, but also a unique element of every collection of a fan of military and armored weapons. COBI fans will also enjoy the vehicles in the themes of Afrika Korps and the Pacific War. The M3 is also a model ready for custom creations. Let the multitude of versions of this vehicle be an inspiration for numerous modifications. Model dimensions (L x W x H): 25 cm (9.8 ") x 9 cm (3.5") x 9 cm (3.5 ").
