Product Description:

The stunning illustrations of birds and dragons give this board game a very mystical feel. It's all strategy, though, as you attempt to plot your path and move your stone across the board. Every tile placed builds and alters the path. Other players might turn your path aside, so plan carefully! For 2 to 8 players with a playing time of approximately 20 minutes.

Tsuro was cited by Psychology Today as a helpful resource for autism spectrum disorders (ASD). See www.psychologytoday.com/blog/promoting-empathy-your-teen/201705/emotional-resiliency-in-asd-teens.

Publisher Description:

Create your own journey with award-winning Tsuro: The Game of the Path. Place a tile and slide your stone along the path created-but take care! Other players' paths can lead you in the wrong direction or off the board entirely! Paths will cross and connect, and the choices you make affect all the journeys across the board.

Ages: 8+

Players: 2-8

Time: 20 minutes

Category Description for Tsuro Game:

In its simplest form, Tsuro is a curious "last man standing" version of Labyrinth, but the board is empty to begin. The 6x6 grid has a pair of paths leading off from every edge tile; players pick any one of the 48 starting paths and place their piece on it. To begin, each player draws 3 path tiles. Each tile features a twisting variety of paths - some curve to another edge of the tile, some go straight, and some cross between a pair of paths. All of the tiles match up perfectly to every other tile as well as the edge of the board. On your turn, place a tile of your choice at the end of your pawn's path, and then move your pawn (and any opponents connected to that tile) to the very end of the newly-extended path. Beware: if your path now extends to the edge of the board, or forces you to run in to another pawn, you're out! Since all of the paths will ultimately lead to the edge of the board as the tiles keep being played, it's only a matter of time... at which point the last player left on the board wins! Easy to learn and suitable for (almost) all ages, Tsuro is an excellent "light strategy" game for friends and families alike. 2-8 players; ~15 minute play-time. Cited by Psychology Today as a helpful resource for autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

I love this game. Its easy so everyone can play but its also intellectually challenging so adults can play. But in the end its the cards you draw that determine the outcome. Much like life.

Good strategy & think ahead game.
It’s a good strategy game. I like when you’re on an adjacent tile to a party and you have to follow it as it reminds me of chutes and ladders!

Children with moderate Intellectual Disabilities
WI purchased this because of the dragon artwork ;) and because Psychology Today listed this game as a resource for ASD. Because of my 17yo sons limited cognitive skills I was not sure he would be able to understand the concepts necessary to play the game. We found this game to be very playable and very enjoyable. The directions were easy to understand with one read through; the games pieces/cards seem very durable; and the 15-20 min play time listed was about right. I also felt like the recommended ages/grades was right on target. My kids are both at around 1st-3rd grade level in most school subjects. As an adult, I enjoyed the game play as well. Although I wouldn't want to continue playing much longer because it's a very simple game.

Myself, and two teenaged ID kids played three times through on our first night playing. I won two of the three games, but once was by default because the kids got each other out. My daughter got me out during one of the games within about 3 minutes. The two kids played each other for another 10 minutes or so and were able to play without any input from me.

This game was a perfect fit for our needs. I have a friend who bought this for her children who have no disabilities and they also enjoyed the game.rite your review here. It must be at least 30 characters long. Consider whether you would recommend this product and what you like or dislike about it.
