I used this text with my two oldest. Although they weren't the biggest fans (what child really wants to do their worksheets) it definitely prepared them for higher level math. And I prefer the integrated review with the lesson number with each review problem to go back to if they are having trouble.

Will this homeschool edition be compatible with the non-homeschool edition?

BEST ANSWER: While I am not sure which other non-homeschool edition you might be referencing, this book is designed for and compatible with the 3rd edition of Math 65. If you are referring to either the 1st or 2nd edition of this series, there is similarity but not complete alignment. You could probably use the "Worksheets" with little difficulty instead of the "Fact Tests" in those editions. The weekly tests might line up to some degree but there will also be some misalignment.
Does this Tests and Worksheets book come with the answers to the tests in this book? Or is there another book that gives the Test answers that I need to buy?

BEST ANSWER: No. The Solutions Manual will have all of the answers for the worksheets and tests as well as problems from the student book.
Are the 3rd edition tests and solutions manual compatible with the 2nd edition textbook I already own?

BEST ANSWER: The 3rd edition Solutions Manual will not be usable with the 2nd edition. The tests, however, might be although you will have to be careful that the material on the tests corresponds to what has been covered. There was some rearranging of lessons with the 3rd edition and, although there is a general similarity in terms of scope and sequence, there are some differences.

Love Saxon
I have used Saxon from K to Algebra 2 and when my kids entered high school their teachers raved at how great they were at math. Saxon is great as it gives a new concept and then repeats it so as it is always fresh. I would never us any other program for teaching math concepts!
