Lessons are similar to the first book, covering the same concepts, just giving different things to draw. The book can be used before, after, or independently from How Great Thou Art I. I already have the DVD, Teacher's Manual, and Book 1. I did not realize the DVD bounced back and forth between books I and II. I wanted to have the complete set so we don't have to skip any lessons.

How Great Thou Art I was very effective in teaching drawing to my children. They even started as young as about 5th grade. But the book is falling apart after so many years of use, so we are going to try the second book as a replacement.

Great value for high school drawing credit

This is a super price for at least a semester's worth of drawing instruction. Even most adults will be challenged to grow in their art ability. If you want more art like marker work, colored pencils, intro painting, etc., then get Feed My Sheep. It covers more and you can skip around in the book to cover sections as you desire. FMS provides multiple years/courses worth of work.
