Each book features two pages per state plus vocabulary pages. While the first page is primarily a nature study (i.e. botanical name, describe habitat, etc.), the second page is more general. These pages include state-specific questions (ratification dates, capital cities) and a creative writing assignment (poem, short story, or unique state tidbit).
