We are completing the Veritas Press complete literature study program for these books and our old set of these books are falling apart (well they are from the 1970s..). So to withstand more years of reading by my youngest two still in homeschool, I needed to get a new set!

My 11 year old grand daughter loves stories. This will go with a recording of the first book.

Is this an unabridged set?
BEST ANSWER: It seems to be flipping through the content but I can't guarantee that as it actually doesn't say anywhere on the packaging or in the books. I would assume that means it's unabridged because I think they more clearly mark it is unabridged when that is the case. I am not thrilled that the books are numbered, because they numbered them in Chronological order, vs the published order that I prefer. Sorry I couldn't be more certain.

Perfect gift set!
My daughter asked to read the Chronicles of Narnia this summer. This compact set has a readable script with a smattering of drawn illustrations to go with the story. Recommended if you are not stuck on the original illustrations and would like a complete set for reading.

My daughter devoured these books In a matter of two months she read the first five I enjoyed having them as paperbacks so that she could take them in the car on trips Definiteley worth the money
