Description

The legendary golden city of El Dorado - a siren call for the heartiest adventurers! In this fast-paced game, players take on the roles of expedition leaders in search of treasure. Starting at one end of the jungle, players form a hand of 4 cards - an expedition - utilizing the skill of various explorers to reach El Dorado first. Each space on the board has unique terrain and difficulty: Jungles, Rivers, and Villages. A green "Jungle" explorer of Power 2, for example, could take the expedition across two "Difficulty 1" jungle spaces or a single "Difficulty 2" space. But the terrain gets tougher as the trek progresses, forcing players to hire new, more powerful explorers and expensive items! Modular boards (can be placed in multiple configurations), variable map length, and other variants add to the replayability of this unique family adventure game! 2017 Spiel des Jahres (Game of the Year) nominee. For 2-4 players. 30-60 minute playtime.
