My high school son is interested in learning about bookkeeping and accounting which is an elective that doesn't have many choices available in the homeschool world. We have used lifepacs before for core subjects and found them to be easy to implement. It is a curriculum that he can do on his own which gives him the independence he wants and frees up my time to help my other children.

I have used Lifepac Accounting with 2 of my high school students, and it is amazing. The curriculum gives a wonderful overview of accounting principles as well as detailed instructions for completing all the necessary ledgers, journals, and statements. With numerous practice activities built into the curriculum, every student can master the information and feel confident that they are ready for college accounting.

How long would the complete set take a 10th grader to complete? Another words how many credit hours should be awarded for all 10 books completed?

BEST ANSWER: This is a full year, one credit high school course. This set does NOT include the teacher answer key. You would purchase the boxed set for that.

Two of my children have used this program. Good self teaching curriculum. Easy for teacher to correct and I have never taken accounting course myself. Both have done well with program. Highly recommend.
