Description

Under the Everdell tree, the woodland critters look back over the past years and what all its wondrous seasons have brought them. There have been budding trees, harvests, get-togethers and a constant contentment and peace that keeps them all secure and close. In this setting, our visit with this charming game begins. Over the course of four seasons, our workers will go out into the valley and stop at various locations to gather resources. With those resources, they will help us add to our deck of cards that represent locations and creatures that we may play for points. In addition to gaining points from cards, there are a few locations and events available on the board that we can visit to gain points.

Once all of our workers have been deployed, we will bring them back, gain additional workers, take actions described for the next season and do this for each season until all players can no longer perform any more actions in Autumn. Once Autumn ends for all players, the game is scored and the person with the most points wins the game. With card drafting, card tableau building, worker placement and resource management, Everdell presents players with several ways to use strategy and planning skills while being a charming and enjoyable game for all! For 1-4 players, with a 40 to 80-minute playtime.
