I saw my friends copies and love the map chart and graph reading skills developed through these books. I had a hard time finding them so am excited to find them here.

We have used this entire series as a traditional supplement to our Charlotte Mason and classical homeschooling. It helps the students easily read maps and charts when they see them in daily life, and they enjoy the short lessons in these books.

My two older children love these books. I appreciate the no-frills presentation of the information and the MC answers. A superb series to encourage children to think about the world around them and develop map interpretation skills. Now that these books are no longer in print(a true tragedy), I am buying them for my youngest two children to use when they are ready. So glad Rainbow Resource still had them in stock and for an amazing price compared to auction marketplace sellers. Fantastic!

I've used this before and my older daughters both enjoyed it and learned a lot from it. It's a great option when we travel because it is compact.

I loved Maps, Charts & Graphs B which I used with my twin second graders last year, so they'll be working in book C during their 3rd grade year. The books are very well done, simple, and are perfect used once a week as a part of their homeschooling.

We use these texts for every grade level of homeschooling and have for 9 years. They are the perfect supplement to a social studies program--and have helped the kids get great scores in information seeking from charts and pictures and map reading.

I appreciate that this series teaches map, chart and graph reading skills in easy lessons that don't overwhelm my kids. We can add it to our week without it seeming like another major subject.

This is by far my favorite map learning series. My kids don't mind it and it has made it easy for my kids to learn how to read maps, charts, and graphs.

I would not purchase from Rainbow Resources again While the books themselves are good the customer service was poor I placed an order and immediately realized that something wasn't right on the order I could not find anywhere on the website to correct/edit my order so I called their 800 number They were closed (it was a Saturday) so I sent an email asking for them to correct the order before it shipped I did not get a response so I called first thing Monday morning The line was busy all day I called 6-7 times all day Monday and left a message but no one got back to me until that evening They told me that they hadn't had time to check email messages and it was too late and the order had shipped If I wanted to order the book I had originally wanted I would have to pay for return shipping and then pay shipping again to have the correct book sent out and the purchase amount is not worth the amount it will cost to return my item I do not like the not being able to edit an order feature before it ships and the fact that you cannot get a hold of anyone to talk to about an issue If I order from Amazon I can edit up until the order has shipped I was told by the lady at Rainbow Resource that you used to be able to edit orders but they just changed that this week and you no longer can due so which is too bad

We are using Maps C for my twin 3rd graders and Maps E for my 5th grader We love them We do one lesson per week and it seems to be perfect for them not too much work for them to get bored and enough to challenge them We have a self-teaching method in our homeschool and these fit right in I think they are a little advanced so if you have a slow reader might think about starting with a lower grade level One of my twins was struggling with reading at the beginning of the year and stuggled with comprehension with Maps C but now her reading has caught up and she is not having any problems We will continue them through 8th grade or as long as they publish them
