Is this book written from a religious standpoint?
History of the Renaissance World
BEST ANSWER: No, it is neutral. But well written and interesting to read. We have the elementary/jr.high books as well as the first 3 HS ones and have enjoyed them. They focus on learning the stories from history.

Timeline 1100-1453
I love Susan Wise Bauer’s writings, but was disappointed that this book ran from 1100 to 1453 AD. I had planned to use it to cover later years, since I always studied the Renaissance as falling later than that—I should have read more closely!
