This game was a birthday gift for my step-grandchild. According to his father, the boy just ignored the other gifts that he received to play with his Gears Set. He is 10 years old.

* Did your children (students) learn from it what you thought they would?Absolutely! * Did you find it easy to use?Yes Very nice easy to use and enjoy! * Was the teacher's manual (where applicable) helpful and/or necessary?Yesvery nice facts and additional activities in addition to the builds to *build* on learning! * How much teacher preparation is necessary? It depends on the teacher and ow much they want to go into the builds in depth or just build and have fun without any further studies * How successful were you in using it with multiple age students?Very easy to apply to mixed age groups * How does it work for various learning styles?Very Nicely * Is there any additional information that would have been helpful to have prior to ordering/using it?None * How does it compare to another similar product? We love Knex because it leaves a lot of open ended builds more so than what you get with just bricksMuch more interactive and posable movable parts * Is the product a good value (ie was it worth the expense)?Yes!
