Moho Wat: Sheepeater Boy Attempts a Rescue
In the area that is now called Yellowstone, a young boy from the Sheepeater tribe survives a terrible fight with a mountain lion at the pricey cost of his left hand. As he learns to live with this change, he continues to practice his hunting and fighting skills as best he can. It is all put to the test when he attempts to rescue Wind Flower, who has been captured by a neighboring tribe.
Professional storyteller and teacher Ken Thomasma's series about Native American children is colorful and adventurous. Built upon his study of history and interviews with various tribe members, these stories and tales from different tribes spring to life through his detailed retellings. ~ Zach
