Category Description for Rainbow Tiles:

Have you been looking for a way to help your student understand the concepts of percents and decimals? These sets provide a colorful, hands-on way to practice what can be difficult math concepts. Each set includes a sturdy plastic activity tray in which 51 color-coded tiles can be stored or used for demonstration of decimal or percent facts. The tiles can be used to identify and compare values and practice reading, writing, adding and subtracting percents or decimals. A one-page activity guide is included with suggestions for use. The decimal set includes values of 1.0, 0.5, 0.33, 0.25, 0.2, 0.166, 0.125, and 0.083. The percent set includes values of 100%, 50%, 33.3%, 25%, 20%, 16.6%, 12.5%, 10%, and 8.3%. There will be a need to explain repeating numbers and rounding, because not all values will add up to one whole unit. These would be a very helpful tool for students to practice concepts on their own or as a demonstration of the concept. ~ Donna

Are the percents on the other side of the tiles or do these just show decimals?
Joanne on Jan 19, 2021
BEST ANSWER: This set is just percents (nothing on the back.) You might be looking for the Fraction Equivalency Tower
