This book provides teachers with brief summaries on a wide range of literature for all elementary grade levels. The goal is to expand your options by including options with a range of themes, genres, cultures, authors, and illustrators. Book categories include alphabet books, picture books, chapter books and novels, pop-up books, informative books and poetry. In each chapter, you'll find the book title, author and illustrator, and a brief description. In some cases, you'll also find lists of additional or award winning books in that category, reading tips, and interesting tidbit facts. 19 pages of reproducible student activity sheets can be used to enhance reading comprehension and further discuss a variety of books.
