a big hit
My 10 year old grandson was thrilled with this. He plans to own a store when he grows up and he wanted this to practice with. He and I spent hours doing transactions. The only problems, according to him, is that it doesn't come equipped with enough play-cash, and there isn't enough room in the cash drawer to keep the bills separate

I bought it for my granddaughter’s 5th birthday. It was a hit.

Great little cash register our kids can grow into
Our preschooler got this for Christmas and he loves it. His big sister has already taught him how to sort the coins. The large buttons are easy for him to use and the beeping is mercifully quiet. One warning: the spring loaded drawer pops out with a lot of force. You may want to show your kids how to "catch" it, so their money doesn't go flying out.

My 5 yr old great nephew has played with my son's cash register every time he visits me. My son is 48 yrs old and had this same cash register when he was about 4 yrs old. I was so glad to find one exactly like it to give to my nephew.

Authentic play without batteries!
My five year old got this a year ago and still loves it. It is one of his favorite toys. My favorite thing about it is that it is solar powered, so no batteries! It comes with realistic looking money and credit cards, so he really enjoys that it feels authentic. It is great quality and has endured many, many hours of play with lots of friends as well. I would highly recommend this to anyone getting ready to buy a play cash register. It's pricey, but again, no batteries ever makes it worth it!

I bought this for my daughter who likes to play restaurant. The following are her words about this product: I like it because the money is the same size as real money. The only thing that I don't really like is the fact that there are 10 five and one dollar bills.There are only 5 ten and twenty dollar bills. More tens and twenties, please! The other thing is that there's only three slots for the money. There should be four.

Wait- is it a toy or an educational manipulative??? It's both! This 'toy' cash register is indispensable in our playroom It sits next to the play kitchen and gets regular usage during 'store' and 'restaurant' play The calculator sets this apart from other toy cash registers and the overall quality is VERY high I would recommend it for any child ages 3-12 who enjoys any type of pretend play Rainbow's price on this item is so great it would be first on my list for birthday and Christmas giving
