I want both my kids to learn sign language and there is no one in our town that teaches it, so I decided to help them learn the alphabet first before doing videos.

My youngest likes to read anything that is not a conventional storybook; cookbooks, pamphlets, product labels while she eats and absorbs the info like a sponge. If I leave this on the table, hopefully it will be the start of learning a new/valuable skill.

We don't have any hearing-impaired people in our lives, but we teach ASL at home as an early learning tool. This looks like an easy reference to keep around (mostly for my husband, who doesn't practice as much as the rest of us).

Loaded with information for the beginner and a tutorial for the advanced student.
I purchased / donated the cards I bought for the prison ASL instructor to facilitate her educational endeavors in the rehabilitation of state houses inmates. They are very good for the beginner ASL student. They contain a lot of the basic SL positions, and movements for everyday practical use.

I know the instructor appreciated them. Hopefully this will be a great instructional aide for the teacher.
