I finally have answers and solutions.
We have been searching for answers to the trouble our daughter was having learning. We had tried so many things and testing. This book gave us the answers and solutions. We are seeing such improvement and she has a much better outlook on school.

Recommended and want to help my children to reach their full potential. I have 1 that has dysgraphia and is behind in some areas. Another that has auditory processing issues.

It is by Dianne Craft and looks to be more cost effective than buying her Struggling Learners DVD set. I am a visual learner and prefer the book format.

I am a speech/language pathologist in the schools. Very important to use what we know about the areas of the brain to target as we look for other neural pathways to teach our students.

I am a homeschool Mom with a struggling learner. She is brilliant but has some challenges with learning to write and read. Visual processing disorders. This book comes HIGHLY recommended. So, of course, I came to Rainbow Resource Center to make my purchase. Thanks Rainbow!

Dianne Craft scores a homerun with her Brain Integration Therapy Manual. She makes it easy to identify your kiddo's "learning glitches". She also provides step-by-step, easy to implement activities to help your kiddo overcome those glitches!

I am looking for ways to help my daughter who is still not reading well. The description seems to fit many of her reading quirks and I'm hopeful this will build her skills and confidence.

What kind of brain training exercises (Chapter 5) are included? I can see the subcategories of each specific challenge, but are they specific games and exercises to do with your children? The table of contents lists specific things- like body exercises and drawing, what type of things are in the brain training? I'm looking at different types of brain training available, and they are considerably different.

BEST ANSWER: The training exercises are not games. They feel like exercises to the student. The manual has you figure out blocked gates and glitches that your child is experiencing. Then you do "training" sessions once a week and "daily exercises" to address their specific concerns. The exercises are physical body movements designed for specific purposes....like "Cross leg toe touch" or "cross crawl" where the student is using an arm or leg of one side of the body and touching a toe or knee of the opposite side of the body to stimulate the formation of neural synapses connected to both left and right sides as well as upper to lower body. Many exercises include where the eyes need to be looking while the body is moving or holding a position. For instance they may be asked to lift the left knee (like marching) while putting their right hand on their left knee while looking to the upper left corner of the room for about one and a half minutes while listening to right brain stimulating music. The photographs in the book use an older student which I really appreciate. It helps my students not feel like these are juvenile exercises. Hope this helps!
Would Diane Craft's Brain Integration Therapy work for a 14 year old boy with right brain learning issues, or is it more for younger students?
A shopper on Aug 2, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have been using Diane Craft's Brain Integration Therapy for 8 of my 9 children. The 9th child is only two right now, but I plan to do it with her as well. The ages of the other 8 go from 21 (at home working on a writing career) on down to 5. It has helped every single one of them in some way. My husband and I also plan on doing it once I get the 8 through. It seems we all have some sort of learning glitch, plus it helps with coordination and such things as well. We have been very blessed by it. Hope this helps!
