Description

This teacher-directed Bible book teaches Gospel truths from Genesis chronologically and alphabetically. Using the tent format book, the teacher presents the lesson from one side while the student views the cartoon-illustrated, poem-format story on the opposite side. Each story highlights an alphabet letter and a tangible or Biblically-themed word such as "B is for Bible" or "U is for Utterly". The low-prep teacher's portion includes the story and a scripted-format lesson using activities and questions that review and expand upon key ideas and additional vocabulary using the same letter. By Ken /Mally Ham; resource for the Biblical Beginnings for Preschoolers program. Top spiral bound, 84 pp, hc. ~ Ruth

Publisher's Description of A is For Adam

A is for Adam is a multi-purpose family book designed to teach young learners Biblical truths. This resource can be a fun and educational way to help your children learn the timeline of history, beginning with Creation and ending with the new Heavens and new Earth. Children will love the bright illustrations and rhymes. Parents and educators will find short discussion points, memorization aids for core truths, and a "More Answers" section. Each sequence of verses teaches the Gospel message to children, answering such questions as:

  • How can we know we didn't evolve from monkeys?
  • What did sin do to the world?
  • Why are there different languages?
  • Why did Jesus have to die?
Category Description for Biblical Beginnings For Preschoolers

This curriculum from Master Books is designed to introduce Biblical themes while integrating some preschool basic skills. Using a combination of several books and a teacher guide, this program is a full Bible program designed for lessons of 45 minutes to an hour, four times a week for 36 weeks, for 3-5 year olds. The curriculum can be used at home, in Sunday school, co-op or a small school setting. The Teacher Guide provides what you as teacher need to plan, teach and record Bible lessons. Youll find lesson plans and weekly schedules, instructions, materials lists and coloring pages. Each weekly schedule of four lessons includes reading, coloring pages, activities and vocabulary building. Scheduling provides direction and yet enough flexibility to meet your specific needs. A suggested semester schedule briefly overviews material and then a daily schedule outlines each days objectives. Since Biblical Beginnings has multiple teaching venues in mind, lessons include "Circle Time" and different Center Times. These, however, can be easily adapted for the home school room. A minor point, but some of the coloring page illustrations werent my cup of tea (a little too cartoony for my tastes). Consumable and reproducible (for up to 10 students in one classroom)perforated pages. 14;" x 11", 164 pp, sc.

This Bible curriculum requires the below-listed products (purchase separately) which include varied genre, activities and Bible lessons. Ive included a brief description of each here; more thorough descriptions are available under eachproduct listing. God Made the World & Me contains 13 lessons with activity center ideas.

This book is used in conjunction with The Creation Story for Children, which pictures each day of creation.A is for Adam, D is for Dinosaur and N is for Noah, which are chart type books that tell creation and Genesis stories using colorful illustrations and rhyme. Noah's Ark Preschool Activity Book reinforces preschool skills while telling the story of Noah. To reinforce this series, select an accompanying 30-page coloring book by the same title. Each page represents one letter of the alphabet and includes the same poem as the series. The final series is the Big Thoughts for Little Thinkers (BTLT), which will help relay spiritual truths to your young ones. ~ Ruth
