Answers Bible Curriculum Year 3 Teacher Guide provides parents with everything they need to teach kindergarten through grade 5. Beginning with a course description, components, and how to use the curriculum, this guide offers parents helpful grading tips, extension ideas, and a suggested schedule. Lessons are divided into 36 weeks, at a pace of three days per week for each lesson. Teaching time varies from 25-45 minutes per week, with independent student activity pages scheduled (younger children may require assistance with the student pages). For each lesson, there are lesson summaries, key passages, teaching lesson information, and comprehension questions with answers. The comprehension questions are adaptations of the student workbook questions. Also included in the Teacher Guide are recommended memory verses, memory verse games, and lesson review games. The purchase of the Teacher Guide only does not include optional supplemental posters or Building Blocks video lessons and memory songs.

There are two core components for each year: The all-in-one Teacher Guide and the Student Workbook. There is an optional grade-level Test Book and Answer Key. Year 3 of the Answers Bible Homeschool Curriculum from Answers in Genesis picks up where Year 2 ends, tracing Israel’s history through captivity, the promises of the Messiah and four hundred years of waiting, and the birth and ministry of Jesus. Students study the authority of Jesus and His ministry. The year concludes with the feeding of the five thousand. Required for the year is the all-in-one Teacher Guide with teaching support for kindergarten through fifth grade learners, and the consumable grade-level Student Workbook. Optional, but highly recommended, are the Year 3 Extras: Life of Jesus Timeline Poster, Books of the Bible Poster, Attributes of God Poster, and the Exodus to Malachi Timeline poster. If you have used Year 2 previously, the Life of Jesus is the only new poster for Year 3. These posters are available separately or bundled in the Teacher Guide with Extras. Purchase of the Year 3 Teacher Guide with Extras also includes access to the supplemental Building Blocks videos and audio memory songs from the publisher’s website.  A grade-level optional Test Book is also available.
