The Tekenrek is a math tool that supports subitizing and computational strategies. Ideal for building number sense of 5 and 10. With 10 rows of 10 beads, students will be able to practice strategies for multiplication and division. The first 5 rows each have 5 red beads and then 5 white beads, and the last 5 rows switch to 5 white and then 5 red. The Tekenrek can stand by itself, or you can take the feet off the bottom. Standing, it measures 9 ½ tall and 5 ¾ wide. Comes with a Guide which includes key numeracy topics. ~Amber
