Consistently one of our favorite games for our WHOLE FAMILY This is one of the very few games we can all play and enjoy with such varied ages playing When we first started playing we had three older kids and a 3 and 5 year old who didn't know how to read The two non-readers both just chose random cards and threw them in but won just as often as the rest of us! As they have begun to learn to read they were able to participate in the "right" way We have a very small shelf of games by the dining room table that contains the games we play most often and this game hasn't left that shelf since it arrived! It is also simple enough for newcomers to learn in 1 minute! I also like that ANY NUMBER of people can play (with a minimum of three) There are enough cards and variety in the game to play over and over again without feeling like it's the same old game again Also it's reading and comprehension level is at a level that even most beginning readers can understand Definitely a FAMILY game we will always have in our home!

My family absolutely loves this game We play it at holidays and family get-togethers and we all really enjoy it (from the grandparents down to my 8yo) I bought this version because I heard that the adult version wasn't really appropriate for younger kids We've been very happy with it and are planning to buy some customizable cards as well Use this game for parties family gatherings homeschool coops and game days I have yet to find some one who does not enjoy this game Besides being fun it does a great job of making you think about the relationship among words It's a lot of fun to see how kids sometimes make connections that adults miss and it's a real challenge to try to defend and explain the connections you made I think this version is probably the best for a wide range of ages
