Publisher's Description of IS-2 Heavy Tank - 1051 pieces (World War II Historical Collection)

The powerful block model of the IS-2 heavy tank was developed in a large 1:28 scale using over 1000 elements! The finished structure reaches 35.5 cm in length and offers access to the service hatch, under which there is a removable engine. Additional functionalities of the model include the cannon and turret, which can be moved, access to hatches for the crew and working tracks. The set also includes bricks with the markings of three countries! These are Poland, Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union. It's up to you to decide which colors you will build the tank with! The model also uses high-quality, durable prints. The set includes a sensational figure of a tanker in a standard tank suit from that period and a plate with the name of the model.

The IS-2 tank was developed in 1943 as a successor to earlier models of heavy tanks serving in the Red Army. His crew consisted of 4 people. The main armament was a 122mm gun that could penetrate the armor of the best German tanks like the Tiger and Panther. The IS-2 played an important role in the Battle of Berlin, where it contributed to the final defeat of the Third Reich.

The IS-2 was one of the most powerful heavy tanks of World War II. Its combination of strong armament, armor and maneuverability made it an extremely formidable opponent on the battlefield. IS-2 heavy tanks were also used by allied armies of the Soviet Union. Therefore, Polish and Czechoslovak markings on this tank were not surprising. Thanks to the COBI construction blocks, you can recreate this historic vehicle in your home!
