Description

Using the “sing it, then play it” approach to learning the recorder, this book lays the foundation for the beginner level recorder student. Your student will learn hand placement, care and maintenance, posture, hand and finger position, and producing the tone. As each new note is introduced, a diagram of the recorder and what holes and finger you will use are available for reference. Along with notes and placement, students will learn music theory. Bible verses are included and encouraged for memorization. Guitar chords start on song number 30 so another instrument can join the fun! Features familiar folk songs and traditional spiritual songs. This set includes the Recorder Factory Book 1 and a neon translucent blue recorder with cleaning rod and case. ~Amber
