Description
At its core, this is a logic puzzle for 1-4 players in which the goal is to find the location of one of the lost animal species located in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.  To save these endangered species, they must first be found so that efforts can be made to increase their population again.  Included is a two-sided map board, with one side being more challenging.

There are six lost species cards included, one of which is chosen to search for each game.

Using an installed application on a digital device, each person logs into the chosen game using a generated code based on the game parameters (i.e. difficulty level, which species they are searching for, which map is used, etc.).  On a player’s turn, they choose from possible actions by moving their marker on a timeline on the board, as well as traveling on the map’s region, where they will try to uncover information on the location of any of the four known species that inhabit the island.  There can only be one of any type of species on any of the sixteen island areas, five areas are uninhabited, and the lost species is located in one of the areas that appear uninhabited.  Players use clues given and obtained on their turns to try and map out where all species, vacant areas, and the lost species are located.  Once someone successfully locates the lost species, the game ends and points are scored based on who found each species’ location first, how many of each species they located, and whether they located the lost species.  The person with the most points wins!

If you like logic deduction, puzzles, and are interested in the idea of competing to find clues to discover a hidden treasure, this game will keep your interest over many plays due to its variety of scenarios, maps, and difficulty.  The solo mode offers an equally challenging and engaging experience.  For 1-4 players with a 60–75-minute play time.
